Funeral services for Ima L. Sukup age 90 of Wake Village, TX formerly of rural Verdigre, NE will be Nov 30, 2012 at Brockhous Funeral Home in Verdigre.

Ima Love Sukup died Saturday Nov 24, 2012 at her home in Wake Village, TX.
Ima Love (Marcom) Sukup daughter of Floyd and Delia (Purdue) Marcom was born April l8, 1922 at Burkurnett, TX Ima attended school near the family home and as a child lived in Texas and later, Oklahoma. After receiving her education, she returned to
Texas where on March 4, 1939 Ima was married to Henry A. Sukup at Port Aransas, Texas. The couple was blessed with two children: Sharon and Floyd. Ima and Henry began married life in Texas, then returned to Henry's hometown of Verdigre, NE where they raised their family and farmed in southern Jefferson Township. After Henry' death on March 29 1972, Ima remained on the farm southwest of Verdigre until moving with her son Floyd to Arlington, Tx.
In 1972 where Ima worked as a domestic for several professionals. In 2004 Ima moved with Floyd to Wake Village, TX where Ima died on Saturday Nov 24, 2012.
While living in Verdigre, NE, Ima was an active member of St. Wenceslausl Catholic Church. Ima is survived by her son Floyd Sukup of Wake Village, TX; daughter Sharon Hansen of Harrison, Arkansas, grandchildren Justin Sukup of Russellville, Arkansas, Audra Sukup of Russelville, Arkansas, Bradley Hansen of Dakota Dunes, SD and Jamie (Scott) Main of Sioux City, IA; great grandchildren Ryan Knudson Of Homer, NE, Cori Main of Sioux City, IA and Colby Main of Sioux City, IA as well as nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Sukup, parents Floyd and Delia Marcom; brother Gerrel and a granddaughter Tracy Hansen.

Ima married Henry Adolph Sukup, son of Joseph Andrew Sukup and Elizabeth (Bessie) Skokan Sukup, on 15 Mar 1939 in Texas. (Henry Adolph Sukup was born on 29 Jun 1913 in Verdigre, NE and died on 29 Mar 1971 in Verdigre, NE.)
